Text Box: Ephesians 4:11-13, And He gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ.

Love binds our hearts together at Crossroads World Outreach Center, and this special love preserves us a supernatural family to carry out God’s will on the Earth. All of us are one body, but we all have different gifts and ministries. In Romans 12:4-5, the Apostle Paul wrote, For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Then in Romans 12, he mentions several gifts and ministries that God has given various members of the Body, the Church, to help “put us together” and teach us to operate in the will of the Holy Spirit. Paul also tells us that ministries that are extensions of Jesus Himself have been sent forth into the Church to mature the saints and equip them to do the work of the ministry.

All of God’s promises are for the Universal Church; therefore, we cannot receive God’s blessings while separated from the rest of the Body. We can only participate in the promises and privileges of sonship by becoming active, lively members of the Corporate Body of Christ. Unity brings blessing, and blessing brings the GLORY OF GOD. For there to be unity in the Body of Christ, there must first be unity in the home. On a larger scale, the only way to have unity between races and nations is for there to be unity in the Church. As the Church goes, so goes the world.

Before Jesus’ death He prayed this prayer of unity over his disciples in John 17: 20-21 . . . I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. That clearly demonstrates His position on the issue of unity. Christ in us is the hope of glory. If we desire for the hope of glory to manifest Himself real in our lives and at Crossroads, we must fulfill the gifts and ministries He has called us to fulfill, and we must dwell in perfect unity. Then, and then only, will we have the corporate anointing and be part of the Glorious Church that will fulfill His will and permit His anointing to flow. Unity releases glory! A glorious church is one where everything is gathered unto Him. The day will come when the whole Earth will be filled with the glory—and therefore the unity—of the Lord! My prayer is that every member of this body of believers at Crossroads World Outreach will fulfill our ministry and that each of us will always love each other as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it.
