God hath dealt to every man the MEASURE OF FAITH (Romans 12:3).

Christians often desire to pray for faith. They don’t seem to realize that if they are born again, they already have a measure of faith. They just haven’t developed it yet. The Bible says that every person is given a measure of faith. It also says that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. (Romans 10:17). So as believers, we do have faith, but we must exercise our faith in order for it to grow and develop.

This same principle is true in the natural realm. For example, if we want to develop our bodies, we have to exercise and lift weights. There is no use of us trying to lift 500 pounds if we can’t even lift 100 pounds.

Things work much the same way in the spiritual realm. We are not going to get our faith to work if we don’t exercise it. We exercise our faith by learning what God has said in His Word and by exercising and claiming His promises over our lives. What He promises us in His Word we can believe Him to bring to pass in our lives. God will make His Word good in every believer’s life at Crossroads today as we believe Him and exercise our faith based upon the promises of His Word!
