Women’s Ministries Day 2020

Yes, we believe in WOMEN IN MINISTRY at Crossroads World Outreach Center (CWOC). We endorse women in ministry because GOD endorses women in ministry. I dare say that because it is recorded in the Bible – numerous times.
Let’s survey a couple of examples – both biblical and contemporary.
Judges 4 records the story of Deborah – a prophetess, a judge (governmental leader), a wife, a mother, and a spiritual mother in Israel. This was a tough lady. God used her to lead her people in victory over an evil army that oppressed them for decades. Even the military leader of Israel’s army stated he would not go out onto the battlefield without her going with them. That’s pretty hardcore (ha – get it? “Pretty” [effeminate] and “hardcore”!).
For my contemporary example, I will use CWOC’s Co-Pastor: Kim Hodge. She does not have a degree from a Bible college or a ministry license or ordination from a denomination. However, she is referred to as a “PASTOR” because someone would have to look far and wide to find someone who functions in the ROLE of a pastor more than Kim Hodge. She nurtures, teaches, mentors, and gives spiritual guidance to God’s people. She does more than just carry the ‘title’; she functions in the office of a true “PASTOR”.
For all of you ladies who function in vital roles of ministry for the Kingdom of God allow me to say, “THANK YOU”!!! You are destined and ordained for the work of the ministry. If anyone tells you otherwise, simply pay them no mind. I encourage you to pursue all that God has for you and I will always endorse you in the work of the ministry.
