SOMETHING TO AIM FOR

Proverbs 29:18a (KJV), “Where there is no vision, the people perish….” The converse of this would be: “With a vision, people prosper.”
Usually at fairs and carnivals there is a game with air guns and the player must hit the target to win a prize. Imagine walking up to that booth with all the cute stuffed animals hanging all around just waiting to be won, you hand your money to the attendant, and the person hands you the little rifle giving you the speal, “Hit the target and win the prize” (along with all the other mumbo jumbo to excite you). You eagerly take the rifle, but to your chagrin there are NO TARGETS!!! You’ve been gypped. It’s like the old proverb: “Being all dressed up and no place to go.” That scenario would be frustrating and infuriating, right?
We all need targets. They can be called goals, objectives, marks, or milestones. Without a target there is nothing to strive for and there is no win in the scenario. That definitely leads to frustration.
We are gearing up to race into 2020 with some targets to aim for as a corporate Faith-Family. (1) Revival for Evangelism, (2) Revival for Prayer, (3) Retention (people visit, stay, and become a part of our Faith-Family), (4) 250 ACTIVE Attendees (weekly average), (5) 2 Sunday A.M. services to better serve the populace with ministry, (6) Edgewood Church Explosion in growth, (7) Spiritual / Emotional Health of CWOC Member’s Homes, (8) Financial Abundance / Breakthrough in CWOC – Corporately and Individually, and (9) Corporate Unity / Corporate Anointing.
These are NINE targets that we are going to pray for, believe for, work for, and AIM for in 2020. We have a vision and we will PROSPER, BREAKTHROUGH, PROPEL and PUSH FORWARD for the glory of God. Not somehow, but TRIUMPHANTLY.
